Dr. Anthea Nwandu
MD, MPH
Dr. Anthea Nwandu received her medical degree from the MBBS College of Medicine University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu, Nigeria in 1986. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Academy of HIV Medicine, Dr. Anthea Nwandu completed her internship and residency at Harbor Hospital Center(MedStar Harbor Hospital) in Baltimore, MD.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Anthea Nwandu was employed by the Hospital Medicine Division of Veteran Affairs at Maryland Health Care System and served as the Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine University at the Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. Dr. Nwandu is certified in HIV Medicine and has experience in Internal Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and in addition has a Masters's Degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (JHSPH), Baltimore, MD.
